 Eiderdown is the softest, most sumptuous down in existence. Eiderdown tests at a loft of 700. Those familiar with loft will recognize this as a typical indicator of good quality, but not necessarily premium quality. The density and cling of Eiderdown supersede loft as an indicator of quality; this incredible down insulates at an equivalent of 1000 loft down. It provides an even, fine layer of insulation that is unmatched.

 Our Canadian Eiderdown is hand-collected from wild Eider habitats on a wildlife sanctuary located on the St. Lawrence River in Quebec, Canada. The Eiders have a safe place to nest and return year after year and don’t mind their human visitors. A portion of the proceeds from every Eiderdown product goes to support these wildlife sanctuaries.
