The Mifuko Great Tit Wooden Ornament is a hand-carved and hand-painted bird figure made from fallen jacaranda tree branches, handmade in Kenya. The great tit is a small garden bird native to Europe and Asia, recognizable by its yellow body and black and white head, and the carving captures that distinctive colouring with painted detail. It comes with a ribbon attached for hanging from a branch, door, window, or tree, and works equally well tied to a bag or used as a keychain.

ABOUT MIFUKO |
Mifuko is a Finnish design company founded in 2009 by Mari and Minna, two friends who studied Textile Art and Design together in Helsinki. The idea was born in a Nairobi market, where they encountered the skill of Kenyan artisans and set out to bring it to a wider audience. Today, Mifuko works with over 1,300 women artisans across Kenya, Tanzania, and Ghana, combining Nordic design with traditional African craftsmanship to produce baskets, bags, and home décor sold in over 30 countries. The brand is a certified member of the World Fair Trade Organization and a Certified B Corporation, with fair wages, continuous orders, and community investment built into every piece. Each product carries the name of the artisan who made it.
